CEDENNA organizes numerous outreach activities, including conferences, talks, competitions, schools, seminars and exhibitions, to present its work to the general community, generating greater interest in science among the youth of our country.
The fifth internal CEDENNA workshop took place on October 22 and 23 in Los Andes with enthusiasm and a spirit of camaraderie. Representatives of each research line the aims and challenges of the research for the coming years, while the directory of the Center emphasized the need to strengthen links with the private sector.
Researchers and students from our Center and there was recognition for the best poster by a student, which went to Daniela Muñoz (physical-chemical line) for her graphic work “Application of nanotechnology for removing trace elements from diverse aqueous matrices”. Romina Abarca (Packaging technology line) received the recognition for the best presentation by a student for her presentation “Development of materials with anti-fungal activity through extrusion technique for application with fresh fruit”.
