On July 28 in Santiago, the Center for the Development of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CEDENNA) will receive the visit of an international panel that is charged with assessing the continuity of scientific and technological research centers of excellent funded under the CONICYT Basal Funding Program.
The assessment sesionas will take from July 28th to the 30th with the participation of the five basal centers that are seeking renewed funding, including CEDENNA. D will be among the five centers, with a presentation by its Director, Dr. Dora Altbir on its lines of research.
The members of the international panel are Ashot Gasparian and Saif Islam from the United States, Guy Tremblay from Canada, Terry Cutler from Australia and Risto Nieminen from Finland. They will assess the last five years of CEDENNA’s operations, as well as those of the other centers that have been funded under the program since 2008.
