CEDENNA organizes numerous outreach activities, including conferences, talks, competitions, schools, seminars and exhibitions, to present its work to the general community, generating greater interest in science among the youth of our country.
“In a sense this shows that the work being carried out at USACH and also allows for more direct collaboration with Peruvian and other Latin American universities” commented the awarded professor of the Immunological and Reproduction Laboratory of the Faculty of Chemistry and Biology, in relation to his recent nomination, which will be made official in August of this year in a solemn ceremony.
With the appointment, the doctor of biological sciences becomes the tenth Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Peru, an organization founded in 1938, which brings together distinguished scientific researchers from the disciplines of physics, medicine, biology, geography, mathematics and biochemistry, among others.
The appointment and acceptance into the National Academy of the Sciences of Peru is the result of a nomination by Dr. Orihuela’s peer, Professor Gustavo González, from the Endocrinology and Reproduction Laboratory of the Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia, based Lima, Peru.
