Talk at the Library of Congress: Dr. Altbir referred to the challenges to regulate nanotechnology

The current state of nanotechnology in Chile and the effects of the lack of regulation in nanosafety was the title of the talk that the director of the Center, Dr. Dora Altbir, dictated on May 30 at the Library of the National Congress. Invited in the framework of the Legislative Reflections cycle, organized by the Department of Legislative Services and Documentaries of the BCN, the scientist referred to the characteristics of nanometric materials and cutting-edge research in this area, noting that “the constant increase in the acquis scientific and commercial development of nanotechnological materials will mean new regulatory frameworks in the country, so it is pending matter for the National Congress of Chile.
