Registration for the Easter Island Nanoscience Conference (EINC 2013) opens on November 30. The Conference, organized by the Center for the Development of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CEDENNA), will take place in Easter Island, June 4-8, 2013.
Nanoscience and nanotechnology have become critical factors in the development of societies in the 21st century, with potential for important and promising technological developments. The Conference will examine recent advances in the area, with the participation of several Nobel Prize winning scientists, as well as many other leading scientists from around the world.
You can register online at www.einc2013.cl There are three types of registration (regular, student and companion), all of which provide access to all conference activities, coffee breaks, three lunches, and an opening evening dinner. The registration cost includes a partial subsidy for the cost of accommodation that is built into the prices the hotels will offer conference participants. The cost of registration is lower if one registers before Monday, January 7, 2013.
Travel and accommodation:
All participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs. We suggest you coordinate your accommodation as soon as possible. The conference organizing committee has arranged between 20% to 30% discounts for conference participants at the hotels Hanga Roa, TahaTai, Oceanía, and Tiare Pacific. The conference organizing committee has reserved a limited number of LAN airfares at a special rate for the following round trip flight: (a) from Santiago de Chile to East Island on Monday June 3, (b) returning to Santiago on Saturday June 8.
