CEDENNA organizes numerous outreach activities, including conferences, talks, competitions, schools, seminars and exhibitions, to present its work to the general community, generating greater interest in science among the youth of our country.
On August 3, there was an expected talk by Professor Miguel Kiwi at the San Pedro Apóstol school in Ñuñoa, requested to our Center by Hector Campos science teacher. On the occasion, Dr. Kiwi referred to the motivation that many researchers feel to know and discover new properties of materials in the nano world. The scientist explained with talent and experience to young people the particularities of this scientific area leaving them very motivated and happy with the visit, as well as the teachers. The teacher in charge appreciated the experience and the knowledge transmitted, and highlighted the generosity and kindness of Dr. Kiwi.
