First Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Workshop for High School Teachers

Nanoscience and nanotechnology do not yet form part of the study plans for chemistry, physics or biology at the high school level, but with the growing relevance and interest in the two fields, they will no doubt be addressed in scientific teaching at the secondary level. To contribute to this process, the Center for the Development of Nanoscience and Nanotechnolgy invited 50 high school teachers interested in integrating the themes of nanoscience and/or nanotechnology into their classes to attend the first workshop on this discipline at the Universidad de Santiago.
