The new Nanoscience challenges

The most important challenge will be to link the public and private world with research, in order to develop applications that allow us to solve our problems, based on scientific evidence and that guarantee the safety of those who use them and the environment as well. Only in this way can we tackle together the long-term and fundamental problems for the country, such as decontamination of water and air, new therapies in medicine, more efficient and safe mining, and longer-lasting food for the entire population.
