Jessica Bravo

Biochemist from the Universidad de Santiago de Chile; her undergraduate thesis focused on Microsatellite markers at INIA La Platina, Ministry of Agriculture (Consortium Project). PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Universidad de Chile; her doctoral thesis received an award in the Universidad de Chile’s Patenting and Technology Transfer Incentive Competition. She completed a research stay at the Bee Pathology Laboratory of the Centro Agrario de Marchamalo (Guadalajara, Spain).

Extraction and chemical characterization of natural products; Characterization of the antibacterial activity of plant or animal extracts; Characterization of the antifungal activity of plant or animal extracts; Determination of the antioxidant activity of natural products; Characterization of the toxicity of plant extracts.
