The traveling exhibition “Images of the Nanoworld: art in the science of the extremely small,” an initiative led by the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CEDENNA), was featured by the regional media outlet Los Lagos Noticias, in a story highlighting the start of its tour through rural schools in southern Chile.
The exhibition will begin its tour in September in the commune of Cochamó, Los Lagos Region, where it will reach the San Antonio de Pocoihuén Alto Rural Elementary School to bring nanoscience and nanotechnology closer to students, teachers, and local communities.
The Los Lagos Noticias article highlights the innovative nature of this initiative, which seeks to bring scientific knowledge closer through images obtained using high-resolution electron microscopy, revealing structures and shapes of the microscopic world that are invisible to the human eye.
