Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, CEDENNA, adds to its team Sebastián Jara as Technology Transfer Officer, with the aim of strengthening the link between scientific research, technological development and the productive sector.
A Chemical Engineer with an MSc in Metallurgical Engineering and an MBA, Sebastián has a solid track record in innovation management, technological development and building bridges between science and industry. Throughout his career he has led R&D portfolios and managed complex projects with companies, universities and technology centers, also contributing to technology transfer, intellectual property and licensing processes. His joining CEDENNA seeks to boost the valorization of the results developed by the Center, promote new opportunities for technological application and advance the connection between the Center’s scientific capabilities and the country’s challenges. “I hope to contribute a strategic perspective that strengthens links with the productive sector, drives the valorization of research results and helps project the Center’s work towards concrete, high-value applications for the country,” he said.
