Caring for the environment while contributing to urban furniture? A group of students from Colegio San Agustín de Antofagasta, advised by Dr. Sandra Fuentes, has launched a recycling project that turns PET and HDPE bottles into benches for the seaside promenade. On May 17, World Recycling Day, we will highlight this and other initiatives by CEDENNA members on our social media, such as LABEN’s work developing new materials for smart packaging and the “Strengthening recycled PET through nanotechnology” project.
