CEDENNA international advisor highlights the center's progress

The member of CEDENNA's International Advisory Committee, Professor of Inorganic Chemistry Eugenio Coronado met today with the director of the center, Dr. Dora Altbir Drullinsky, and researchers from different lines of work, to learn about the progress and challenges facing each area. . In the tour of the different laboratories of the center, Dr. Coronado delved into the research being carried out, formulating questions and suggestions.

The Spanish chemist and physicist is director of the Institute of Molecular Science at the University of Valencia and has received various awards, including the King Jaime I Award for New Technologies and the King Juan Carlos I National Research Award.

At the end of the visit, Dr. Coronado stated that "I am quite impressed by the progress that CEDENNA has made in the last four years, in particular I have seen that there is a great commitment, a firm commitment, to create a center that also has a social part and an important technological transfer part”.

The International Advisory Committee is also made up of Drs. José d'Albuquerque e Castro, from the Physics Institute of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) and Iván Schuller, from the University of California, San Diego (United States).
