Four of our researchers will take part in Winter Week, organized by Universidad de Aysén, in activities scheduled for Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 August. This is part of the agreement to establish a collaboration network between Cedenna scientists and academics from that institution in nanoscience, nanotechnology, and other related fields.
The agreement between both institutions aims to develop new knowledge, teach existing knowledge at the student training level, and share it with society, particularly among teachers in the Aysén Region and young people in basic and middle school education.
Dr. Marlen Gutiérrez, Dr. Cristián Vilos, Dr. Patricio Vargas, and Dr. Francisco Rodríguez will give talks in sessions aimed at high school students, teachers, the general public, and professors from the higher education institution.
The topics they will cover in nanoscience and nanotechnology will combine a training approach aligned with the 3rd and 4th year high school curriculum with a more specialized focus in the discussion sessions with academics from U. de Aysén.
