The intensive training workshop on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology will take place on October 6 in Valparaíso and seeks to bring scientific tools and experiences to teachers in the region.
With the aim of strengthening science teaching and bringing nanotechnology into the classroom, CEDENNA, together with the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María (USM), will hold ProNano in the Valparaíso region for the first time in 2026, an intensive training session for secondary school teachers.
The activity will take place on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Events Center, Building A of the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, in Valparaíso.
ProNano is a CEDENNA initiative aimed at providing tools, content and hands-on experiences that allow teachers to incorporate Nanoscience and Nanotechnology concepts into their teaching, promoting the link between frontier research, science education and regional development.
During the session, participants will learn about current applications of nanotechnology, interact with researchers and access educational resources designed to bring these disciplines closer to secondary school students.
