CEDENNA has begun a collaboration with SQM Salar aimed at improving the raw material used to manufacture lithium batteries. Executives from SQM’s New Technologies Division visited our center and met the equipment and researchers who will work on this development. On the occasion, they highlighted that working with CEDENNA will allow them to better serve their own customers. Jaime Robertson, Head of New Technologies at SQM, said the project they are starting with CEDENNA will directly impact the development of new technologies for electromobility, a goal Chile has set itself to combat climate change. “There were other centers in Europe, but we selected CEDENNA for its quality and for the synergy of working in our country. It has been excellent,” he concluded.
