Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, CEDENNA, with the support of ANID, opens a new call for the incorporation of a postdoctoral researcher. The call is aimed at researchers with a doctoral degree, with a track record and prospects in nanoscience and nanotechnology, interested in joining multidisciplinary teams and carrying out frontier research in materials science. At least 2 positions will be assigned to women candidates. Applications until June 30.
? Research Lines
Applicants must demonstrate technical expertise in at least one of the following CEDENNA priority areas:
- Modeling and Simulations: DFT, molecular dynamics and machine learning.
- Sensors and Mining: Nanomagnetism and spintronics.
- Energy: Green hydrogen and storage (Li-ion/Na-ion).
- Chemistry and Environment: Synthesis of nanomaterials and remediation.
- Biomedicine: Nanobiosensors and drug delivery systems.
- Packaging and Food Safety: Active and intelligent packaging.
? What requirements must you meet?
- Doctoral degree: Obtained after January 1, 2019. (We consider a maternity extension of 1 year per child).
- Academic excellence: Demonstrable scientific productivity in WoS journals (preferably Q1 or Q2).
- Skills: Intermediate/advanced English and a strong ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Sponsorship: Endorsement from two CEDENNA academics.
