CEDENNA to Hold Seminar on Quantum Computing for Research and Industry

The event will take place on Thursday, November 5 at the University of Santiago de Chile and will feature Enrique Solano, founder and CEO of 6.6 Quantum of Action, who will discuss the advances, current applications, and opportunities that quantum computing offers for research and the productive sector.

The Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CEDENNA) invites the public to attend the seminar “Quantum Computing for Research and Industry,” an event aimed at exploring the technological advances of this discipline and its potential applications in the scientific and industrial fields.

The seminar will also address the role that universities and Latin American industry can play in developing and leveraging these tools, with particular attention to their combination with artificial intelligence and the opportunities this technological convergence opens up for research and innovation.

During the seminar, attendees will examine the possibilities of developing useful applications with currently available quantum hardware, drawing on concrete examples and recommendations to drive research and development (R and D) initiatives. The event seeks to bring these technologies closer to the scientific community and foster discussion about their possibilities and challenges.
