At the end of July (30th), Hugo Cros, an Engineering Physics student at Polytech Clermont (France), who had been carrying out research in nanoscale magnetism at the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CEDENNA) since April, gave his end-of-stay talk.
The presentation, titled “Modeling magnetic behavior in nanostructures using Spin-Lattice Dynamics”, addressed advances and challenges in modeling magnetic behavior in nanostructures using spin-lattice dynamics techniques. Cros’s work is part of an international collaboration that strengthens ties between CEDENNA and European research centers.
The event brought together 24 people interested in this line of research: 16 participants online and 8 in person.
With this talk, Cros concludes a period of intense and enriching work that helps strengthen knowledge in nanoscale magnetism and boost the center’s international presence.
