With the aim of providing the fundamentals of numerical simulations, developing skills in using molecular dynamics software and applying different techniques to practical problems at basic and advanced levels in science and engineering, the “Molecular Dynamics Workshop: Bringing Theory Closer to Experiment” will be held on October 24 and 25,

The event will take place at the Auditorium of the Rector Eduardo Morales Santos Research Centers Building, Universidad de Santiago de Chile. The Workshop is aimed at undergraduate and graduate students in science and engineering interested in learning numerical simulation tools and gaining hands-on experience.

Why attend?

This workshop will give all attendees a solid foundation in numerical simulations, a skill increasingly in demand in fields such as engineering, physics and chemistry. Participants will not only acquire theoretical knowledge but also apply these concepts in practical exercises and a final project.

How to register?

Registrations will be received through the QR code on the workshop poster, which leads to a site explaining the steps to follow. Questions or inquiries can also be sent by email to [email protected]

Limited places

Registration priority will be given according to registration dates, and a certificate of participation will be given to those who complete the workshop activities.

Attendees must bring a laptop for the various activities the workshop includes.
