In a meeting that highlights the synergy between the world of science and industry, a group of 12 researchers from the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CEDENNA) made an enriching visit to Agrosuper’s Rosario plant, located in the municipality of Rengo.

The CEDENNA Center experts were welcomed by Catalina Hernández, in charge of visits at the plant, who described the history and the most recent advances in its developments and projects. The visit provided an opportunity for the exchange of knowledge, ideas and experiences between both parties.

The Executive Director of the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology CEDENNA, Dr. Juan Escrig Murúa, highlighted the potential for mutual collaboration between nanoscience and industry, stating that “research centers like CEDENNA are crucial for creating an effective bridge between universities and companies”.

“Their role in generating and transferring knowledge, training talent, promoting multidisciplinary collaboration and contributing to economic and social development is indispensable for the progress and competitiveness of our societies. Encouraging and supporting these centers is investing in a more innovative, sustainable and prosperous future for all,” he stressed.

In a world where innovation is key to competitiveness and sustainable development, the connection between science and industry proves to be a driving force for progress. This link between CEDENNA and Agrosuper is just one example of how interdisciplinary collaboration can open new doors by connecting nanoscience and nanotechnology with industry.
