Final-year secondary school students from Colegio Calasanz visited the laboratories of CEDENNA and were able to see the different disciplines in which nanoscience and nanotechnology are applied.
After a brief presentation by Dr. Juan Escrig Murua, they formed groups to tour different laboratories and talk at length with researchers in nanobiomedicine, nanochemistry, nanosafety and electron microscopy.
After an extensive tour, they left with faces full of wonder at the advances of Chilean nanotechnology research.
