In an interesting meeting, Gisela Ledesma, representative of the Business Incubator of the National University of Córdoba (UNC) in Argentina, and Novosens CEO Lucio Simonella, met with leading CEDENNA researchers and its Executive Director, Dr. Juan Escrig.
The focus of this meeting was the ETOH biosensor, a key innovation developed by Novosens to accurately measure alcohol levels in wines and fermentation broths.
The meeting also included a visit to the laboratories of CEDENNA, where Ledesma and Simonella were able to explore the Center’s technological capabilities. This visit sought not only to strengthen current collaboration but also to lay the groundwork for future joint initiatives between UNC and Novosens in the development and production scale-up of the biosensor.
Both parties expressed palpable enthusiasm about the prospects of this collaboration, which could not only benefit local industry, but also project Argentina and Chile as leaders in technological innovation internationally.
