Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CEDENNA) is present during the three days of Expo Salud 2025, with a stand specially designed to bring nanotechnology closer to the clinical world and show how these scientific tools are already transforming diagnosis, personalized medicine, drug delivery, tissue regeneration and nanosafety.
In this context, CEDENNA is promoting the second edition of the Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Course for Health Professionals, which begins in March 2026 and already has enrollment open for physicians, nurses, medical technologists, physiotherapists, nutritionists, dentists and clinical teams across the country. Visitors to the stand can directly access the syllabus, fees and dates through the QR code available at the stand.
The course features leading specialists, including Dr. Dora Altbir, Director of the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CEDENNA) and National Prize for Exact Sciences winner and Dr. Pedro Chana, physician specializing in movement disorders, CEDENNA researcher and director of Movement Disorders Center (CETRAM). His career has just received important international support, after CETRAM was selected to receive the Edmond J. Safra Fellowship, granted by the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
A contribution to the health sector from Chilean science
CEDENNA’s participation in Expo Salud 2025 seeks to strengthen the link between scientific research and clinical work, promoting continuing education and the incorporation of nano tools that today enable more accurate diagnoses, more effective therapies and a better understanding of complex biological processes.
We invite all health professionals to visit our stand and learn how nanoscience can enhance their clinical practice.
