On June 11, Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CEDENNA) visited Maimonides School, located in the municipality of Lo Barnechea, with the aim of bringing scientific knowledge closer to primary and secondary school students.
Fernando Corvacho, Nicolás Plaza and Dr. Samuel Baltazar took part in the visit and, at the invitation of teacher Damaris Medina, gave a talk to the school community, addressing key concepts of nanoscience and its applications in everyday life. Demonstration activities specially designed for students from 7th to 10th grade were also carried out.
The initiative sought to foster interest in science and technology among young people, promoting curiosity and critical thinking from an early age.
