The Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CEDENNA) is pleased to announce the winners of the 2024 edition of the “CEDENNA Images Contest”, an initiative that combines science and art through images captured using electron microscopy and creatively transformed by the center’s students, technology developers and researchers.
This contest seeks to bring science closer to the general public, showing the beauty and relevance of nanoscience and nanotechnology in our daily lives. The participating images stood out not only for their quality and originality, but also for their ability to inspire and enrich national scientific culture.
We thank those who enthusiastically took on this challenge, presenting creations that will bring to life CEDENNA’s 2025 calendar and other outreach initiatives, such as the successful traveling exhibition “Images of the Nanoworld”, which tours various locations across the country.
All images received will become part of CEDENNA’s historical archive and may be used in future outreach materials, always giving due credit to their authors.
Congratulations to the winners!
