Science, business, startups and academia came together at the panel “From Knowledge to Market: Behind the Scenes of Science-Business Integration”, organized by the regional consulting firm Idemax as part of the III International Meeting on Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Investment, held at Parque Bicentenario in Vitacura.

“I highlighted, for example, the importance of recognizing and valuing the level of excellence of the work we do at universities and research centers as a starting point for a better relationship,” she said.
Meanwhile, the representatives of the business sector highlighted some aspects related to intellectual property that are barriers hindering partnerships with universities.
The panel also included the president of the Sociedad de Fomento Fabril, Rosario Navarro; the Chief Data Officer of LATAM Airlines, Andrés Bucchi; the director of Institutional Research at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, Paola Cañón; the CEO and co-founder of Spora Biotech, Hernán Rebolledo; and the Senior Manager of Idemax, Denise Betteley.
