After almost two years of suspended visits by high school students due to the pandemic, CEDENNA welcomed to its laboratories 3rd and 4th year students from Liceo San Miguel de los Andes in Puente Alto and three 2nd year students from Colegio Kimen Montessori in Colina.

In both cases, the day began with a talk by the center’s director, who introduced them to nanoscience, the many applications of nanotechnology and the work carried out at CEDENNA.

The students were then divided into groups to discover and explore the nano world through some of the laboratories, where they were welcomed by researchers who told them, in a didactic and approachable way, about this science, considered the Fourth Industrial Revolution, with endless possibilities to contribute solutions to the planet’s current problems, including climate change, energy, the environment and health.
