The Center for the Development of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology CEDENNA created a sensor that allows real-time monitoring of the detachment of wear elements from mining shovels (GETs), thus preventing pieces of metal from hindering crushing operations.

The researchers in charge of the project will give an open demonstration to those interested in this and in a novel sensor to measure bushing wear, next Friday, January 14, 2022, at Universidad de Santiago de Chile.
