Simafe 2021 held in hybrid format in Temuco

On Friday, November 26, the XVI International Seminar on Condensed Matter Physics and Statistical Physics, Simafe 2021, concluded.
Due to the pandemic, this year’s scientific meeting was held in hybrid format, alternating virtual and in-person talks at Universidad de La Frontera in Temuco.
The seminar, which began on Wednesday, November 24, has been gaining prominence nationally and internationally. In addition to Chilean researchers, this year it was attended by researchers from Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, the United States, Norway and the United Kingdom. The organization also had the invaluable support of scientists from Universidad Nacional de San Luis, Argentina. 
As usual, in a friendly and collegial atmosphere, national and foreign scientists presented progress in their respective research, strengthening ties for future collaborations and planning next year’s activities.
