Drs. Dora Altbir and María José Galotto were awarded scholarships to attend the first edition of the Women’s Leadership Program in Science, taught by the Center for Organizational Engineering (CIO) of Universidad de Chile.
The course is an initiative of the Ministry of Science, Technology, Knowledge and Innovation (STKI) with the support of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), within the framework of the recently presented National Policy for Gender Equality in STKI and its Action Plan “50/50 by 2030”.
Its design considers the competencies required for senior management positions and provides the necessary skills to women motivated to lead science from leadership positions in academia, innovation centers and public office.
