The Quantum Optics and Solid State Physics conference (QUOST) was born in 2009 and is held every two years, with the aim of bringing together specialists in the country working in the quantum field in optics, information and computing, as well as solid-state physics.
Dr. Juan Carlos Retamal, a CEDENNA member who was part of the organizing committee, said the event has been held since its inception to “create synergy among specialists and promote scientific collaboration, as well as open up new possibilities for cooperation”, strengthening ties and building networks.
The seventh edition of the conference took place on January 18 and 19, 2021, with 30 virtual presentations.
