Together with PAR Explora RMSP, the research center of excellence in nanoscience and nanotechnology CEDENNA joined the science outreach campaign by taking part in the Science Festival Feci 2020, from November 11 to 15.
In addition to sharing the story of how a scientist encouraged and motivated his classmates to explore the very, very small, the CEDENNA center prepared an audio podcast voiced by two distinguished national scientists, recipients of the National Prize in Exact Sciences: Dr. Dora Altbir and Dr. Miguel Kiwi. In a short account, both explain how nanoscience has impacted the development of technology and, with it, people’s lives, making it possible, for example, for computing devices such as mobile phones to store a lot of data with high memory density in very little space.
