Due to the health situation, CEDENNA’s traditional Calendar, distributed annually to schools across the country, will this time be available to everyone in digital format.
This calendar contains original, unpublished images related to CEDENNA’s field of work and is intended for members of the Center and for upper high school classrooms. It is hoped that later, when conditions allow, a printed version can be made available for distribution. Access the 2021 Calendar here.
The Calendar presents six images obtained in the Center’s laboratories that accompany the months of the year, aiming to show interesting perspectives at very, very small dimensions of materials, nanoparticles and computer simulations.
The images were selected from an internal contest among CEDENNA’s young researchers, which received 38 entries. The authors of the 6 selected photos were Daniela Alburquenque, Juan José Erices, Constanza Piña and Karina Roa. The composition by María Francisca Matus, Bruno Cisternas and Cristián Vilos and the photograph by Simón Riveros together with Javiera Sepúlveda were also chosen.
