The great absentee in the presidential debates: science

The digital outlet El Mostrador published the column titled “The great absentee in the presidential debates: science”, written by Juan Escrig, dean of the Faculty of Science of the Universidad de Santiago and CEDENNA researcher.

In the text, the academic warns that, despite the relevance of science and technology for the country’s development, these topics still have no place in the presidential discussions, and calls for investment in knowledge to be considered a strategic axis for Chile.
