Our director, Dora Altbir, took part in an interview in the studio of CNN Chile, where she discussed the strategic role played by Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CEDENNA) in the country’s scientific and technological ecosystem.

During the conversation, Dr. Altbir highlighted the progress achieved by the Center and the challenges that will mark this new institutional cycle, aimed at strengthening applied research and generating solutions with real impact for Chile. In this context, she stressed the importance of nanoscience and nanotechnology as key areas for tackling problems in fields such as health, the environment, industry and food.

The interview also highlighted CEDENNA’s inter-university and multidisciplinary nature, as well as its commitment to science connected with the country’s needs, capable of engaging with the State, industry and society, and of transforming advanced knowledge into development and well-being for people.

This participation in a high-audience national program reinforces CEDENNA’s public positioning as a benchmark in technological innovation and as a relevant player in the discussion about Chile’s scientific and productive future.
