In a joint effort with the Chilean Network of Chemistry Teachers, CEDENNA organized the First National Training Meeting in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, an unprecedented event aimed at strengthening the pedagogical capabilities of chemistry teachers from across the country.
The event, held at our facilities, brought together leading specialists in the field and an audience of professors interested in bringing advances in nanoscience to Chilean classrooms.
The meeting began with an introductory talk presented by the director of CEDENNA, Dr. Juan Escrig, together with Dr. Dora Altbir, National Prize for Exact Sciences 2019 and Director of the CEDENNA Foundation, who offered a panoramic view of the impact and applications of nanoscience and nanotechnology.
During the day, attendees had the opportunity to delve into various topics with the help of renowned experts such as:
- Dr. Samuel Baltazar
- Dra. Patricia Díaz
- Dr. José Zagal, Premio Nacional de Ciencias Naturales 2024
- Dra. Carolina Villegaz
This meeting not only allowed for the exchange of knowledge and experiences, but also strengthened ties between the scientific and educational communities, promoting quality teaching around science and innovation.
At CEDENNA we remain committed to training future leaders in science, and this first meeting marks a significant step in our mission to bring nanoscience closer to new generations.
We thank all participants for being part of this life-changing experience!
