Dr. Eugenio Vogel Matamala, a CEDENNA researcher and academic at the Universidad de la Frontera, was chosen one of the 100 Senior Leaders 2022, an initiative promoted by Fundación Conecta Mayor that highlights important national and local figures for their contribution to the development of the country.
The researcher is PhD in Physics from Johns Hopkins University and Doctor Honoris Causa from the National University of San Luis in Argentina. The specialist in magnetism and statistical physics this year contributed as co-author to five international scientific publications, participated in international conferences and visited the universities of Navarra and Almería in Spain, presenting seminars and establishing bases for collaboration.
He was a member of the Scientific Committee of the XVII Intensive Seminar on Condensed Matter and Statistical Physics, SIMAFE 202, which has just concluded in Temuco and of a Symposium that is being held this year in Puerto Varas.
