On Tuesday, September 5, 43 students from 1st to 4th grade from the San Pedro Poveda School in Maipú visited us.
After a welcome and introductory talk about the nano world, given by Dr. Mauricio Escudey, leader of CEDENNA's Nanosafety Line, the students took a tour of different laboratories at the center, including Nanomedicine, Electronic Microscopy, Nanomagnetism , Packaging, Nanosafety and Plant Biotechnology.
Fascinated and eager to return, the students said goodbye to the center and its researchers, committed to investigating more about nanoscience and nanotechnology.
"Our recent educational visit to this prestigious Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Center allowed us to explore a world of innovation and cutting-edge knowledge. Cedenna is a beacon of national importance in the field of nanoscience, and this experience was a window into the impact that scientific research has in our country" they pointed out from the educational establishment.
"For our students, this visit was an invaluable opportunity to understand how science and technology are shaping the future. From nanotechnology to materials physics, Cedenna is at the forefront of research, and our students had the opportunity to interact with scientists and learn about projects that are promoting the advancement of science in Chile," the educators highlighted.
