The National Institute of Industrial Property (INAPI Chile) opened its doors to host the activity “Promoting links and associativity between ANID Centers”, an initiative organized by the National Research and Development Agency and aimed at managers, directors, executives and deputy directors of the network of Centers that have their financing and support.
The meeting, which aimed to address issues related to administrative management, had the participation of 58 Centers, including the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CEDENNA), with the presence of Fondap, Basales, International, Technological, Regional, Millennium and of Education.
In his role as director of the CEDENNA Center, Dr. Juan Escrig Murúa attended and highlighted that this meeting was “an excellent opportunity to share experiences and good practices with other ANID Centers, fostering a space for collaboration that transcends both the scientific and technological field. ”. such as the dissemination of science.”
He added that "the possibility of jointly addressing challenges in management, governance and sustainability allows us, as a network, to strengthen our capacities and find innovative solutions to common problems, thus enhancing the impact of our centers on society."
During the day, eight work tables were established so that participants had the opportunity to share their experiences on institutional management and how they approach decision-making.
Along these lines, presentations were made and dialogues were generated, which allowed topics such as dissemination and communication of science to be raised; management challenges; governance; national and international linkages and networks; technological and knowledge transfer, and, finally, sustainability.
At the end of the activity, the attendees took stock, evaluating these work spaces and identifying common needs in relation to management topics. Likewise, they agreed that there are spaces for collaboration, where it is possible to continue strengthening networks in favor of the dissemination of science and knowledge, generated by them.
