In the Science and Technology section of MEGA PRIME, the innovative treatment with magnetic nanoparticles that is being developed at the CEDENNA Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Center was highlighted.

Through the use of magnetic nanoparticles, CEDENNA is working on a technology that has the potential to attack tumors and cancer cells in a highly localized manner, without causing damage to surrounding healthy tissues or organs.

CEDENNA signed an important agreement with the German company Kipu Quantum

Today in the digital media of the University of Santiago, Diario USACH, the important agreement with the German company Kipu Quantum that was recently signed by the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology CEDENNA was recognized.

This agreement is the first that the European software company has with a Latin American entity.

In an interview conducted by the digital newspaper El Mostrador, Dr. Miguel Kiwi (National Prize for Exact Sciences in 2007 and researcher at the CEDENNA Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology) spoke about "the lights and shadows" of Warner Heisenberg, a pioneering physicist of quantum mechanics and who was in charge of the scientific investigation of the Uranium Project of the German atomic bomb during World War II.

The cultural program broadcast by NTV "El Coleccionista de Premios" highlighted Dr. Dora Altbir, National Prize for Exact Sciences 2019 in its 9th chapter.

Vicente, a curious and empowered teenager, toured some of the laboratories of the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, CEDENNA, together with the then director, experimenting in Electron Microscopy, Nanobiomedicine and Technology Transfer. A day full of surprises and emotions.

CEDENNA signs an important agreement with a German company to promote research in quantum computing in Chile
