The presentation took place in the context of the visit of Dr. Juan Escrig for the inauguration of the artistic exhibition “Images of the Nanoworld” in the Central Library of the Saucache Campus.
“Nanotechnology made in Chile” was the exhibition held by the director of the Center for the Development of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CEDENNA), Juan Escrig Murúa, in front of university directors and authorities, where he announced the work carried out by the center within of the last 10 years and particularly the Nanomagnetism laboratory, where the applications of nanoscale structures are developed and studied.
In this framework, Escrig presented “what nanotechnology made from Chile is, with some concrete examples of how basic research can advance and then be transformed into patents and eventually products.”
