Exploring Chile's Technological Challenges: CEDENNA at the UFRO Workshop in Temuco

In an effort to understand and address the scientific and technological challenges facing Chile, the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CEDENNA) actively participated in the Workshop "Technological Challenges for Chile: Where are we going?", organized by the Universidad de la Frontera ( UFRO) in Temuco.

The event, which took place recently, focused on exploring the various challenges that the country faces in the scientific field, bringing together leading experts and professionals in the field.

The executive director of CEDENNA, Dr. Juan Escrig, who shared his expertise in nanoscience and nanotechnology with the attendees. In his speech, Escrig outlined the crucial role that CEDENNA plays in research and development in these emerging fields.

"It is essential to understand the transformative potential of nanoscience and nanotechnology in the current scientific and technological landscape. At CEDENNA, we are committed to promoting innovation and progress in these areas, thus contributing to the advancement of Chile," commented Escrig during his participation. 

The workshop not only served as a platform to discuss current challenges, but also as a space to strengthen collaboration between academic institutions, research centers and the private sector, with a view to finding effective and sustainable solutions for the country's scientific and technological problems. .
