The Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CEDENNA) is present throughout the three days of Expo Salud 2025, with a specially designed module to bring nanotechnology closer to the clinical world and demonstrate how these scientific tools are already transforming the fields of diagnostics, personalized medicine, drug delivery, tissue regeneration, and nanosafety.
In this context, CEDENNA is promoting the second edition of its Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Course for Healthcare Professionals, which begins in March 2026 and is now accepting applications from physicians, nurses, medical technologists, physiotherapists, nutritionists, dentists, and clinical teams from across the country. Visitors to the CEDENNA booth can access the course syllabus, fees, and dates directly via the QR code available at the module.
The course features distinguished specialists, including Dr. Dora Altbir, Director of the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CEDENNA) and recipient of the National Prize for Exact Sciences, and Dr. Pedro Chana, a physician specializing in movement disorders, a researcher at CEDENNA, and director of the Center for Movement Disorders (CETRAM). His career has recently received significant international recognition after CETRAM was selected to receive the Edmond J. Safra Fellowship, awarded by the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
A contribution to the health sector from Chilean science
CEDENNA's participation in Expo Salud 2025 aims to strengthen the link between scientific research and clinical work, promoting continuing education and the incorporation of nanotechnology tools that now allow for more precise diagnoses, more effective therapies, and a better understanding of complex biological processes.
We invite all healthcare professionals to visit our booth and learn how nanoscience can enhance their clinical practice.
