The Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Center Cedenna created a sensor that allows real-time monitoring of the detachment of wear elements from mining extraction shovels (GETs) and, in this way, prevent pieces of metal from interfering with crushing work.

On Friday, January 14, 2022, the researchers and engineers of this project will make an open demonstration and will show too a new sensor to measure wear on bushings, at the University of Santiago de Chile.
