Last Friday, July 12, a group of 25 students from the Eindhoven University of Technology, in the Netherlands, had the privilege of entering the fascinating nanoworld during a special tour of the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CEDENNA).

The Conference began with a brief talk by the Executive Director of CEDENNA, Dr. Juan Escrig, who introduced the students to the impressive advances and applications of nanotechnology developed at CEDENNA. Next, the young explorers embarked on an exciting tour of the center's various specialized laboratories.

From the Electron Microscopy laboratories, where students were able to see the nanoscale structures up close, to the Nanobiomedicine laboratory, where students were able to observe the different innovations being worked on. Each lab provided a unique and tangible view of how nanotechnology, and nanoscience, is transforming multiple disciplines.

Additionally, students had the opportunity to interact with leading researchers in fields such as Nanomagnetism, Electron Transfer, Packaging and Plant Biotechnology, who shared their experiences and answered each question asked by international visitors.

This meeting not only strengthened academic ties between two leading institutions at the scientific forefront, but also inspired young people to consider new perspectives and possible collaborations in the dynamic and amazing world of nanotechnology.
