"When we think of Christmas, the last thing that usually comes to mind is nanotechnology. Twinkling lights, perfectly wrapped presents, shiny ornaments on the tree and cutting-edge gadgets seem more like the product of Christmas magic than scientific advances. However, this invisible magic has a name: nanotechnology."

This is what Dr. Juan Escrig, director of the CEDENNA Center, says in his recent column published on Radio Cooperativa. In his analysis, Dr. Escrig highlights how this nanoscale science is more present than we imagine in our daily lives and, especially, in end-of-year celebrations.
