Applications open today, March 17, 2025, for educational visits to the CEDENNA Center. These visits will be open to students from 7th grade through 12th grade. This year, we have established new requirements to ensure a safe and enriching experience for all participants.
We would love to welcome everyone, but spaces are limited not only due to the size of the laboratories, but also because these visits require a break from our regular activities. Researchers and academics are temporarily interrupting their research and teaching duties to make this experience possible.
To apply, please complete the form and watch for your confirmation email.
We look forward to your participation!
Important details about the visits:
- Registration open: from March 17
- Visit dates: Starting April 21, on dates to be determined by the CEDENNA team and communicated to registrants via email.
- Limited places: each form corresponds to a specific course, so each group must have a maximum of 35 students..
- Students with specific needs: If the group includes students with reduced mobility, vertigo, or neurodivergences, it is essential to inform us in advance so we can make the necessary adjustments during the tour.
- Accompanying Persons: To ensure the proper development of the activity, the presence of at least 2 to 3 teachers or guardians is required to accompany the group throughout the visit.
- Registration priority: To provide the largest possible number of schools, one visit per school will be prioritized. If there are available spots, the possibility of assigning more visits to the same school will be evaluated.
Visit dynamics:
During the visits, students will have the opportunity to learn about the fascinating world of nanoscience and nanotechnology through a variety of interactive activities. Visits include:
- Introductory Talks: CEDENNA experts will offer an introductory talk covering key concepts in nanoscience and nanotechnology, demonstrating how these disciplines are transforming science and technology today.
- Lab Tours: Students will have a guided tour of CEDENNA's various labs, where they will be able to observe the processes and experiments carried out in the field of nanotechnology.
