In an interesting meeting, Gisela Ledesma, representative of the Business Incubator of the National University of Córdoba (UNC) in Argentina, and the CEO of Novosens, Lucio Simonella, met with prominent researchers from CEDENNA and its Executive Director, Dr. . Juan Escrig.
The focus of this meeting was the ETOH biosensor, a key innovation developed by the company Novosens to accurately measure alcohol levels in wines and fermentation broths.
The meeting also included a visit to the CEDENNA laboratories, where Ledesma and Simonella were able to explore the technological capabilities of the Center. This visit not only sought to strengthen the current collaboration but also to prepare the ground for future joint initiatives between UNC and the company Novosens in the development and productive scaling of the biosensor.
Both parties expressed palpable enthusiasm about the prospects for this collaboration, which could not only benefit the local industry, but also project Argentina and Chile as leaders in technological innovation internationally.
