Today we had the opportunity to receive a group of enthusiastic fourth-year Chemistry students from the Andrés Bello University at our facilities. This visit allowed them to delve into the world of nanoscience and nanotechnology, two fields that are transforming our understanding and manipulation of matter on tiny scales, but with great impact.
During the tour, students had the opportunity to explore three of our laboratories:
-
Packaging Laboratory: Where innovative materials are researched and developed to improve the durability and sustainability of packaging.
-
Nanostructure Chemistry Laboratory: Here, students discovered how nanostructures with unique properties that can be applied in various industries are designed and synthesized.
-
Electron Microscopy Laboratory: A space where they could observe the ability of electron microscopy to reveal nanoscale details, allowing significant advances in multiple areas of research.
This experience not only allowed them to learn about the advances and developments that we are carrying out at CEDENNA, but also offered them a closer and more concrete vision of the vast potential that nanoscience and nanotechnology have to transform the future.
We invite you to watch the full video of this activity and share this tour with us!
